The International Christian School of Cascais does not have an enrollment period. As we work with small groups, students will be admitted until the class is full, and enrollments are accepted year-round.
Students who move on from the previous year will have priority in renewing their enrollment over new enrollments.
Students of all cultures, ethnicities, religions, countries of origin and educational experience are welcome.
At the International Christian School of Cascais, we encourage every family to explore the possibility of an ICSC experience regardless of financial circumstances. We understand that the cost of attending an independent school requires making a significant investment in your child’s education and future. Recognizing that every situation is unique, we are committed to working with each family to find ways to make an ICSC education a reality.
Parents and students have a general interview with the school. It’s best to bring all relevant documentation with you to ensure that your child is placed in the correct grade. Remember, all documents should be officially translated if they are not in English or Portuguese.
Make an appointment to come and visit us at ICSC, see the classrooms and chat with the staff.
Apply online or send your completed application form to us via email. Alternatively, start the registration process when you visit ICSC.
The admission office will schedule a meeting with the parent(s). Students are encouraged to attend the family interview as well.
At the time of the interview, the admission office will also schedule a time for the student assessment.
The Office must receive a copy of the previous school records before scheduling the parent meeting.
Selected candidates need to submit all required documents.
Because we are a Christian school, all of our activities relate to the spiritual development of our students.
Our goal is to develop within each student a respect for authority, a sense of responsibility and consideration for others.
Students will be held responsible for their actions and shall conduct themselves in keeping with their level of maturity, scriptural principles, and respect for fellow students and those in authority.
ICSC is a uniformed school. By wearing the correct school uniform, students demonstrate not only a respect for themselves and their colleagues, but also respect and pride in their school.
At the beginning of each year, each parent is required to submit a signed Student Health Form, which includes authorization for emergency care.
Students are expected to show respect and care for school property, as well as their own belongings.
We continue to implement safety measures on our school campus to assist in keeping our students, staff, and entire school community safe.
Lessons are being conducted at the ICSC school campus while we are still safely able to do so. However, for students who are unable to attend the classes, they have full access to our online classes to ensure that no student will fall behind on their studies.
ICSC’s contingency plan is fully prepared and aside from remaining in close contact with the Health Authorities, we strictly adhere to all Health Authorities safety guidelines and recommendations. We have increased and enhanced hygiene practices and movement around the school building is reduced and conditioned.
We are planning exciting educational field trips for the new academic year, while still ensuring the safety of all our students and school community.
Access to the school campus is currently limited to only students and staff. Essential external visitors are limited to the reception area only and must complete the visitor’s log.
Visitors to the school while classes are being conducted are strongly discouraged, and whenever possible, meetings are conducted via virtual platforms instead. Only absolutely essential visits are permitted, but these must be pre-scheduled with the office, and visitors will be restricted to certain areas while there are students on campus.
If you are not feeling well, or have been in contact with someone who is sick or has COVID-19, we strongly recommend that you immediately contact the Portuguese Public Health helpline SNS 24 (808 24 24 24).
