Pedro Nicolino

We are very grateful to all the support we had along the way. Pedro was very happy in a safe and healthy environment, surrounded by love and care at school. Pedro was able to improve his personal skills as a citizen, student and a man of God.

Dear Mr. Carlos Freitas,
I would like to express my gratitude towards our family since we joined your school last year, in August 2017.
We arrived in Portugal, from Dubai with no hope of finding a place in a school for our son, Pedro Nicolina. However, everything changed when Mrs. Charmaine along with Pastor Carlos Freitas opened not only the doors of the school, but they also opened their hearts to receive our family in the church community and especially our son in their school. It was a critical moment in our lives because Pedro was going to grade 12 and he had no school at the occasion. I still remember Pastor Carlos’s words: “We generally do not accept a student in grade 12, however Pedro has a good GPA and during the interview and all the evaluation tests he has proven to be a good student. I am going to give him a chance!”
That decision changed our lives forever. We are very grateful to all the support we had along the way. Pedro was very happy in a safe and healthy environment, surrounded by love and care at school. Pedro was able to improve his personal skills as a citizen, student and a man of God.
As Pedro is a very sociable young man he could keep developing his soft skills and improve academically. Pedro made good friends and developed his knowledge further with the support of his friends, the high qualified teachers and friendly staff at school. Additionally, Pedro had the chance to improve his passion for sports when he volunteered to help the Physical Education teacher at school assisting Coach Pedro in the PE lessons to the younger students.
I am happy to say that I even recommended the school to our friends and neighbours, who have joined Portugal from Singapore last year in 2017 and was at the same situation as ours. They also felt the same way when they were offered a place for their son at International Christian School of Cascais.
Having said that, I would like to show my appreciation for the great year my son had at the International Christian School of Cascais. Pedro passed his SAT with a good score and was accepted in four good universities in the UK, where he will be able to use his knowledge, skills and learning he gathered at school in the year of 2017.
I would highly recommend the school to anyone that I know due to the reasons expressed above.
Kind regards,
Adriana Meyer
